Product Review: I Love My Fro Shea Butter Whip
I was asked to review the Shea Butter Whip from theILoveMyFro line that I hadn’t heard of but was eager to check out. For one, I’m not a big fan of Shea butter and I wanted to change that and two, Shea butter is moisturizing and I’m in dry Colorado and always on the hunt for something to keep my tresses moisturized.

I’m not real familiar with Shea Butter products so I was expecting something to keep me and my hair from being dry but expected something thick and unpleasant to work with. I was grateful for being wrong. I used it first on my body and loved how it was not too thick or greasy and since I love in dry Colorado I carried that big old jar around with me in my purse!

I Love My Fro Shea Butter Whip-Water Based Moisturizer ****
Why do I keep finding these products that I love! I swear I am trying not to be a product junkie but if you are dealing with dryness on your body or your hair you NEED to give this a try.
It comes in 10 fragrances and I got to try the vanilla which smelled yummy! It glides on without being greasy or thick on my body and my hair. I was using it first on my body and loved it since we are getting a few warm days and I was able to wear flip flops. Me being a freak about my feet being moisturized and supple was carrying it around with me everywhere. I loved it on my elbows and feet the most and they are softer than ever.
I tried it on my damp hair at night after lightly spraying my hair with lavender water before bed and applying my satin scarf. My hair was moisturized and soft in the morning and I had easy second day hair if I wanted. It’s not to be used on dripping wet hair so it’s the perfect in-between co-wash days product for me.
The only downside is having to only get the product online but it comes in four sizes (2oz, 8oz, 16oz, and 32oz) and are quite reasonable. My 16oz jar will list a long time as it goes a long way. I’m always a fan of water based products and natural ingredients so this is a win-win in my book and a product worth giving a try.

Omg this giveaway came just in time! I have been subscribed to Harmony on YT for a few years now and just I recently went back through her vids to tried to make my own version of the ilovemyfroo shea butter whip over the weekend so that I could do a fluffy twistout like Harmony’s. The whip didn’t come out super whipped but it did leave my hair moisturized and my twistout was soft fluffy and shiny. However I would love to get the REAL product lol so my hair can get all the benefits!

When I first went Natural 8 years ago I tried so many products. As we all know something about that! I had heard so many things about Shea Butter and tried all kinds of products with Shea Butter and my hair just never seemed to like it. After several attempts throughout the years I decided to give up trying to make it work in my hair. Just recently I was surfing the web in search of a new product because although my current product was working fine it just seemed like something was missing and could be a lot better. That’s when I came across Ms. Harmony’s “I LOVE MY FRO” products. I saw The whipped Shea Butter and right away thought OH NO, Shea Butter…..Well I left the page and something lured me back to her site the very next day. After reading all the reviews on how Great this product is I ordered the samples. Long story, short. My Hair is in Love with this Stuff!!!!! It’s working my hair and I think I should be the winner because this product has proved my hair wrong after all these years. I need all Ms. harmony’s Whipped Shea Butter that I can get my hands on !!! LOL
