I’m Jay and I’m 14 years old. My mom is Native Black and my dad is white Italian. I would consider my hair coily, frizzy and THICK. I have been natural my whole life.
I struggle a lot with my hair but lately I’ve found some products that work pretty well.
My routine is pretty simple. I either wash with a hydrating shampoo or a cleaning conditioner next I drench my hair in conditioner so that I can comb it, after I comb it I rinse the conditioner out. I don’t put a towel on my hair I just wrap it around my shoulders.While my hair is wet I section it into four sections to apply product, I use mixed chicks leave in conditioner then I add some curl pudding. I do that to each section then I let it air dry and I’m done.
My favorite styles are twists and braids I also like flat twist outs and braid outs. Occasionally I’ll wear my hair out in an afro or in a bun. Sometimes my mom does make me get my hair straightened but she limits it to about 3 times a year, I do NOT like my hair straight.
